Pricing Rules

Pricing rules define how prices are calculated based on customers, quantities, dates, and other conditions. This guide covers rule creation and management.

  • Create customer-specific pricing
  • Set volume discounts

  • Manage pricing tiers

Accessing Pricing Rules

Navigate to Pricing → Pricing Rules to manage pricing rules.

How to Create Customer Pricing

Customer-Specific Price

  1. Go to Pricing → Pricing Rules
  2. Click New Rule
  3. Configure:
    • Rule name
    • Type: Customer
    • Select customer
  4. Set pricing:
    • Fixed price or discount
    • Products/categories
    • Validity period
  5. Save and activate

How to Create Promotional Pricing

Time-Limited Promotions

  1. Go to Pricing → Pricing Rules
  2. Click New Rule
  3. Select Type: Promotional
  4. Configure:
    • Promotion name
    • Discount amount/percentage
    • Valid dates
    • Product selection
  5. Set conditions
  6. Activate

  1. Define customer groups first
  2. Go to Pricing → Pricing Rules
  3. Create rule for group
  4. Set group discount
  5. Configure products
  6. Activate

How to Set Category Pricing

Category Rules

  1. Go to Pricing → Pricing Rules
  2. Create category-based rule
  3. Select categories
  4. Set pricing method:
    • Fixed markup
    • Percentage discount
    • Price multiplier
  5. Save rule

Priority Configuration

1. Customer-Specific (Priority 1)
   └─ Overrides all other rules

2. Customer Group (Priority 2)
   └─ If no customer-specific

3. Promotional (Priority 3)
   └─ Time-limited offers

4. Volume Discount (Priority 4)
   └─ Quantity-based

5. Category Default (Priority 5)
   └─ Fallback pricing

Conflict Resolution:
├─ Lower number = Higher priority
├─ Same priority = Most specific wins

How to Configure Stackable Discounts

Stacking Order:
1. Apply customer/group discount
2. Then apply volume discount
3. Maximum combined discount: 35%
