Shipment processing manages the creation, fulfillment, and tracking of outbound and inbound shipments. This guide covers the complete shipment workflow.

Navigate to Shipping → Shipments to manage shipments.

How to Create Shipments

From Sales Order

  1. Open sales order
  2. Click Create Shipment
  3. System populates:
    • Ship-to address
    • Items to ship
    • Shipping method
  4. Verify details
  5. Add package info
  6. Generate labels

Manual Creation

  1. Go to Shipping → New Shipment
  2. Enter details:

How to Process Multi-Package Shipments

Adding Packages

  1. Create shipment
  2. Click Add Package
  3. For each package:
    • Weight
    • Dimensions
    • Contents
  4. Repeat for all packages
  5. Process shipment

How to Manage Ship-From Locations

Multiple Warehouses

Configure ship-from:

  1. Go to Settings → Shipping → Locations
  2. Add warehouse addresses
  3. Set default location
  4. Configure rules

Determine ship-from by:

  • Inventory availability
  • Proximity to destination
  • Shipping zone
  • Manual selection

How to Handle Special Shipments

Hazardous Materials

For hazmat:

  1. Flag items as hazmat
  2. Select proper service

    • Shipper declaration
    • Labels/placards

  4. Ensure compliance

Oversized Shipments

For large items:

  1. Enter accurate dimensions
  2. System identifies oversized
  3. Select freight service
  4. Generate BOL
  5. Schedule pickup

International Shipments

For international:

  1. Enter destination country
  2. Complete customs info:
    • HS codes
    • Item descriptions
    • Values
    • Country of origin
  3. Select duties payment
  4. Generate customs docs
  5. Process shipment

How to Process Batch Shipments

Bulk Processing

Process multiple:

  1. Go to Shipping → Batch Processing
  2. Select orders to ship
  3. Verify carrier/service
  4. Click Process All
  5. Labels generated
  6. Shipments created

Select Orders → Verify Details →
Rate Shop (optional) → Process Batch →
Generate Labels → Print All →

  1. Create return authorization
  2. Generate return label
